SVQ (Scottish Vocational Qualification)
This is the next step of progression in the Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS). Before your two year CPCS Red Trained Operator’s Card runs out you must be registered to sit the relevant S/NVQ for categories of plant you have been trained on.
If you do not register for this S/NVQ before your CPCS Red Trained Operator’s Card runs out you may incur additional costs by having to complete CPCS Theory and Practical tests, in addition to completing the SVQ Assessment.
